Community Organizing

Community voices. Collective action.
Lasting change.

Fenway Forward organizes in community to protect residents, advance housing justice, and shape public policy.

2025 Highlights

Advanced
Public Policy

In 2025, residents mobilized to preserve MBTA Bus #55, strengthen tenant protections, and advance rent control toward the 2026 statewide ballot. Organizing efforts translated directly into structural wins.

Preserved Long-Term
Neighborhood Stability

Most notably, sustained community advocacy helped shape Northeastern University’s 10-Year Institutional Master Plan — securing 1,000 new on-campus beds, $10 million for housing stabilization, and a five-year PILOT agreement. These commitments reflect the power of organized residents influencing long-term neighborhood stability.
