Community Programs

Investing in people. Supporting economic stability.

Our community programs remove barriers and create pathways to opportunity — meeting residents where they are and responding to real, expressed needs.

2025 Highlights

Expanded Food Access

In partnership with Food Rescue US, Action for Boston Community Development, Fenway Cares, VitalCxns, and the Massachusetts Association of CDCs, we expanded food access across the neighborhood through community fridges and bi-weekly food distributions. We also created a food resource guide in response to federal benefit cuts.

Reduced Economic Insecurity

The Free Market evolved into both a resource hub and neighborhood connector — reducing economic insecurity while strengthening relationships among residents. Alongside rental assistance, workforce development, arts programming, and community gatherings, these efforts increased economic stability and deepened community resilience.
